HKL plans to sell more than $ 140 million to Bank of Thailand
Phnom Penh: HKL, a microfinance institution in the country, plans to sell all its shares to the Bank of Thailand Ayudhya in Bangkok, 100 percent of the shares may be more than 140 million dollars.
Thailand Ayudhya Bank decided to buy all the shares of the company HKL which currently is in negotiations while the stock price could be more than $ 140 million. Moreover, the Bank of Thailand will be completely occupied HKL after the approval of the National Bank, which takes about 6 months to complete and not to have any structural change.
In 2015, HKL MFI total assets of 446 million dollars and a total of US $ 364 million, while total deposits rose to $ 238 million. This institution has 151 branches and offices across ATM total of 102 across the country.
